The actual treatment happens in a larger room where there are zero gravity recliners. Treatments done in a group setting create a powerful healing environment that amplifies the effects. A study was done at the University of South Carolina that showed that acupuncture in a group setting was more effective than done individually.
The only area’s used during treatment are the arms, legs, and head. Once the treatment is in place patients are encouraged to stay as long as they like.
